. . . is an award-winning journalist specializing in home ecology, 21st century sustainability, and living in balance with nature. She cut her teeth in newspaper and magazine publishing, then went free-lance to write and produce 12 books. Her stories about houses and the people who design, build, and live in them have been published in more than 100 national and international magazines and newspapers. Linda’s first book, The Healthy Home: An Attic-To-Basement Guide to Toxin-Free Living (Rodale Press, 1989), became a primer for the green building movement leading to media appearances and speaking engagements throughout the U.S. and Canada.
